I took this photo in a parking lot next to an abandoned garage. I thought it would be perfect for an urban look!Time
It was right after the sun had gone down. It was a bitterly cold winter day which made sticking outside the car for too long a little tricky since it was so cold! I'm glad I stuck it through and was able to get this shot!Lighting
I was honestly a little worried about lack of light being an issue but I was locked into just the right settings that made for a nice cool blue hue in the sky that clashed against the ruby reds of the taillight. And of course I positioned myself in just the right spot to get the lens flare from the very unique taillights of the Infiniti G37Equipment
This shot was done handheld and the camera I was using was a Cannon 80d.Inspiration
I wanted to take some cool shots of a friend's car! But probably my biggest inspiration for taking shots like this has been my appreciation for the beauty of automotive design everything from the leather stitching to the curves and body lines on the exterior of the car.Editing
With my photography I try to keep it as natural and unedited as I possibly can to the original shot. The only tweaks done to the shot were minor tweaks to exposure, brightness, and shadows. In my camera bag
My camera bag has a 80mm & 50mm lens and a tripod and that's basically it. Stripped completely just to the basics .Feedback
Just go out and do a photo shoot with your friends! Sometimes the greatest moments of artistry happen when you least expect them.
