Behind The Lens

Location

I was take this photo on the surface territory of "Dobropolskaya" mine in the town Dobropillya, Donets'ka oblast, Ukraine in which I live and work.

Time

There are was a sunny autumn day in the middle of september near the dinner time.

Lighting

This shot was taken with hard sunny light in the middle of the day.

Equipment

It was the Redmi 7 phone main camera. Shot on camera in the hands without flash or other equipment.

Inspiration

I was walking on business on the territory of our company and saw this trolley wheel cut with a winch rope somewhere in a mine like a handprint and think: "Oh! It can be creative shot with nice idea". And shot it by my phone camera.

Editing

This photo shoot by phone camera in JPEG format and can't be edited hardly so I made it monochrome and add one of mobile app preset to do more softly contrast.

In my camera bag

I'm amateur photographer and have no many equipment in my bag. If I want to shot something I usually take my Nikom D5100 with 18-55 zoom nikkor f 3.6-5.6 ed II lens and one or two of my soviet lenses: Helios 44-2 2/58, Jupiter-11A 4/135 or Jupiter-37? 3.5/250. To shoot portraits I'm use Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 2.8/80 - it makes soft skin structure. Also I have two compact flashes: Shanny SN910+ and Nikon SB-600 and two flashes connected to AC: SLS-200, which connect to lamp holder to work in slave mode, and FalconEyes SS-110B.
