Behind The Lens

Location

This is my backyard. I have taken many photos of this building, tree, and those two chairs.

Time

I love this photo because it was just after fresh snowfall, we had walked past the tree and building on our morning walk. This view always seems to be welcoming - the wild cherry tree and the chairs next to the old shed.

Lighting

The light was subdued from the mottled skies. The snow had recently finished falling. I wanted to emphasize the snow on the branches and the tracery of those branches.

Equipment

This is an iPhone photo processed in Snapseed.

Inspiration

This is a familiar spot that makes me happy.

Editing

In a bow to simplicity, I used Snapseed on my iPhone 12.

In my camera bag

In my camera bag I carry, extra batteries, extra lenses, and the manual. When I go wandering on my morning jaunts (such as seen here) I might only have the iPhone. I usually take a lot of macro shots

Feedback

Beauty is in everything in nature. Look. Look. Look. The camera/lens that you have with you is always the best camera/lens to use. Look for beauty and examine your surroundings.
