I use an old desk lamp for lighting. Possibly not the right light to use but it works for me.Equipment
Olympus E420 with 35mm macro lens. Hand held using a small wheat bag to steady my hand. I do own a tripod but rarely use it. I like to move around a lot.Inspiration
This is a seed from a geranium flower. When water touches the open seed it closes up rapidly, much like a fan. I love the delicate look and feeling of the feathery seed and achieving this photo was a challenge.Editing
