A few years ago I had an opportunity to visit Fox Glacier in New Zealand. This is where this photo was taken.Time
The trip started early morning with a helicopter ride up to the glacier. I took this picture during our exploration of the glacier during the morning.Lighting
It’s all natural lighting nothing special.Equipment
At the time I was just starting to experiment with photography and I used a Nikon D3400 camera with the standard lens.Inspiration
It was a chance encounter of an image that I liked the look of at the time it wasn’t until I got home and really looked at the photos that this one stood out to me.Editing
I haven’t done a huge amount to this picture I liked the natural beauty of the ice and the colours I did do a small amount of cropping to get the right frame for the image.In my camera bag
Right now I still have me Nikon D3400 and I love it but have up graded my lens to a Tamron 70-300 and also now carry some uv and polarised filters. At the time of this photo I had just started looking at photography and just had the basic camera and lens.Feedback
