A different sort of winter road trip. Riding our bikes up Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. In the late winter-early spring...the plows start clearing the road to open up for the season. Before cars are allowed, there is a brief window where bikes and hikers are the only ones permitted. We make sure to get out and enjoy it every year with the incredible snow wall tunnels and beautiful views above treeline.
