This is a picture of a Giloy plant. It is having extraordinary medicinal properties. During these tumultuous times when the whole world is gripped with COVID-19 pandemic, people in India are retracing the remedies in their ancient Ayurveda practices. It is believed and rather testified that drinking Giloy extract could rejuvenate the blood platelet growth in the body.
In my small 6×6 feet garden, my father had planted Giloy an year back. Its vines had spread all over the place, so much so that we had enough giloy leaves and vines to gives our neighbours and their neighbours. One day, I took opportunity to cut its main vine and left it to regrow and when this fresh green giloy came up again in few days. It made me ecstatic and realised as nature heels itself , we too will heal since we too are nature.
