You have given 2020 a positive swing that is really (nice) positive, a contribution to the Year 2020 Collection. As always, the competition will be tough, which, as an added consequence, makes a possible victory taste very sweet. Good luck and probably for the … time: Happy New Year and stay healthy in 2021!

Inspiration

On the evening of June 30th, 2020 I hopped on my bike to make a quick run to the store, as I came to a busy intersection I spotted a small dog in the middle of the street. I got off my bicycle and walked out to the terrified little dog and started talking to her. I reached down and scratched her head and told her we need to get out of the street. I coaxed her to follow me to the curb, I sat down and talked to her, rubbed her head and told her I would help her find her home. I got on my bike and told her to follow me... She followed me the mile back home. I fed her and made her comfortable. The next day I posted her on lost and found groups on Facebook, three days later a woman sent me a message saying that she knows the owner and would contact him. It turned out that the owner was homeless and living in a tent on the edge of town. I told the lady that I would take the dog if he can't take care of her. The owner agreed to sign over ownership of the little dog to me. Once that was done, I took the dog to the vet to have her chipped and get her shots up to date. That's when she became Dee Dee. Two weeks later I noticed that she was putting on weight, and became suspicious... Yep, she was pregnant. On August 18th she went into labor and gave birth to 4 beautiful puppies, all boys. I dubbed them The Four Musketeers, "Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D'artagnan. It became apparent that I rescued more than one dog that night, I rescued a family. I raised the pups for 11 weeks and found them all good loving homes. Dee Dee has adjusted to her new home and we are now inseparable. She is a very good doggo. Dee Dee and The Four Musketeers are the only thing that was good during my year of 2020.
