In 2011, this equestrian work was unveiled to recognize the debt owed to King Robert the Bruce as the benefactor to Aberdeen Scotland. The city's Common Good Fund was developed as a result of his 1319 charter. The statue, which stands outside Marischal College is the work of sculptor is Alan B. Herriot.
