This photo was taken somewhere along the ring road in Iceland. I had just begun to take an interest in photography. This was my first trip with a camera.Time
I believe this was sometime in the afternoon. I was in Iceland during the summer months where we had very small amounts of “night time.” The sun never truly set.Lighting
The consistent gloomy weather limited my options but offered some mood.Equipment
All I had was a hand-me-down cannon rebel with a standard lens that would constantly jam.Inspiration
It was an overlooked creek on the side of the path. Most people walked right past it without batting an eye.Editing
I wanted to sharpen up the details in the rocks. I also focused on cleaning up the color in the water to be a more accurate representation of what I saw without the lens.In my camera bag
