One of the lanes that runs through Lathkill Dale in the Peak District. We were walking away from the gate when my daughter turned around and said how nice the scene looked. There is an ageing beauty about the old barns and outbuildings dotted around the Peak District especially when the moss and lichen slowly spreads across the roof of the old buildings like it does here. It was a cold morning and the mist was lingering near the river and in the dale giving it a nice atmosphere while walking along the river.
