This photo was taken in my back yard. A few days back before I took this photo, I noticed the neighborhood cat acting suspicious and chewing on something. When I investigated, the cat had a hummingbird in her mouth; the hummingbird was unconscious. I took the hummingbird with me, dip its bill in a sugar water and let it rest. One hour after, he gained his consciousness back; a few minutes after that, I was able to set it free. Two days past, my little buddy came back!!! Hovering in front of me and staring straight into my eyes like he was trying to communicate something. he did this for atleast 15 minutes!!! I assumed he was saying "thank you." That was the time when I took this photo.Time

Holding the unconscious hummingbird in my hand and whispering to it that everything is gonna be fine, was one of the hopeless situation I have been, yet I wanted to be hopeful for my little buddy; and watching it came back to it's consciousness and back to life and flying free, that was amazing! I was overwhelmed.. I can't really explain the feelings exactly.. it was between being happy and blessed and excited and humbling all at once. That's the feeling that I want to share with everyone who see's my hummingbird photos.Editing
