Scary times indeed! I have had good use of my respirator since I started working in Canberra, Australia. As well as the COVID19 pandemic we have had bushfires as well

Location
This photo was taken just outside Pialligo Airport, in Canberra AustraliaTime
This photo was taken in the afternoon about 4:00pm, and that afternoon was during the 2019 Canberra bushfires and was experiencing hot weather. The air pollution in this area was very bad and the demand for face masks and respirators suddenly took off, with many retailers running out that same day.Lighting
Lighting was actually quite easy given that this photo was an opportunistic one, and this was simply left on automaticEquipment
This photo was taken by a 2019 Apple iPhone XR with automatic focus and lighting.Inspiration
The existing situation with the local Bushfire disaster in Canberra at the time presented this perfect opportunity, as well as showing myself adapting to the conditions that day.Editing
The good news here was that there was no need for any post processing at all, I was quite happy with the result with the equipment I hadIn my camera bag
So far I have travelled lightly and my trusty Apple iPhone XR has been my best equipment so far until I advance to more sophisticated equipment soon.Feedback
Don’t be afraid to take the shot, there will always be time after to decide whether to take another shot, or even to decide whether it does need any enhancement, after all most of the photos taken in our world are taken by opportunity.
