Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken down in a ravine inside Mt Rainier National Park, Washington.

Time

This photo was taken in late afternoon on a Monday.

Lighting

3 o'clock is the perfect time to catch beautiful lighting in this area. The sun isn't directly overhead, washing everything out, but casts a nice glow to the surroundings.

Equipment

This photo war taken on a tripod with a timer set off by remote.

Inspiration

To me, one of the most valuable parts of being an outdoor photographer is being "at one" with the environment I'm in. Preferably naked????

Editing

Most the the editing was balancing out the greens and focus.

In my camera bag

I always have extra lenses, cleaning supplies, filters, snacks, water, my sunglasses, and cell phone.

Feedback

Be brave and take some time to be your natural self in the places you love most.
