Location
I took this photo at Deniz Lake, which is 3400 meters above the Kaçkar Mountains. This is a lake formed after glacial formation. This lake is one of the stopover points in the Kaçkar Mountain peak hike.Time
We set out at 4 in the morning and started the hike to the summit. I can say that it took us an estimated 4 hours to reach this point. We took a break at this point, about 8 in the morning.Lighting
I took the photo with completely natural light.Equipment
I took the photo with Nikon D810 and 28-300 Nikon lens. I did not use a tripod while taking the picture. I took the photo by hand. I did not use any filters or similar equipment.Inspiration
Walking all the roads and seeing this deep blue lake at an altitude of 3400 meters made me doping. The environment was so natural that I must say nothing bothered you. It would not be wrong to say that it is a place where you can feel completely free.Editing
Since I took photos in RAW, I edited this photo to be more traceable with basic editing techniques. I used the basic settings such as light, contrast, saturation and so on.In my camera bag
I usually have a camera and an extra lens in my bag. However, I do not have the opportunity to carry much equipment during a difficult period like peak climbing. Because the lighter you move, the more efficient you have the chance to use your energy.Feedback
Nature and landscape photography requires patience and waiting for the right time. When the appropriate time and light is formed, it is best to start taking pictures.
