Location
This shot was taken in my home town of Broken Bow, Oklahoma at the Broken Bow Public Park.Time
The time of day was early evening around 4 pm. Being the fall season the sun was already starting to sink down in sky and lighting was starting to get low.Lighting
in my experience lighting can be one of the more difficult things to get nailed down. Usually if I'm shooting in daylight but its low light ill try to leave my ISO at 100 or 200, and adjust the aperture and shutter speed to capture the scene with the right amount of light, due to the fact that you can start getting a lot of noise in your shots from running your iso to high for to long in lower light shots.Equipment
For this shot, I used my canon T5i with the 18-55mm kit lense, and my tripod.Inspiration
We had taken our kids to park, and I always bring my camera and take shots, This particular shot captured my attention as we were walking around the path that leads all the way around the park. it kind of had that corridor effect and was full of the fall colors. so I setup my tripod and took a few different shots with different angles and zoom levels.Editing
All I di for post processing on this shot is bring up the exposure levels just a bit and adjusted the vibrance and saturation levels slightly to bring out the colors as i saw them when i took the shot. I wanted to keep the shot as close to what I saw and not go over the top with it.In my camera bag
Equipment that i normally carry with me is my canon rebel t5, an 18-55mm lense, and the 75-20mm lense, and my tripod.Feedback
advice I would give to someone who is looking to get similar shots, is to always be on the look out for stuff that draws your attention when your out there. I have shot photos a ton of different times at this public park and every time we go, I always find something new to shoot there even though nothing much has changed other than the seasonal changes or time of day. while something may not be a good shot under one set of circumstance just a change in lighting from the position of the sun in the sky could make it a great shot.
