A tunnel that leads to some woods in Felixstowe, that I sometimes walk through in the dark after a shoot, became the location for this Halloween image. I've often walked through this tunnel and thought how creepy it is. No one around for a good while and absolute darkness, so its best to watch your step as you walk through this area. I've wanted to create this image for the past few Halloweens so I'm very happy to finally bring it to you.
The story behind this image: Five lumberjacks that lost their lives in the nearby woods, many years ago due to high winds, resurface every Halloween to guard the entrance to the woods. They protect the trees of the woods and haunt anyone that they know is heading there for no good. They make no noise as they approach and in the darkness cannot be seen, so it is the worst fright of your life when one suddenly appears in front of you and seizes your soul.
