Location
This photo was taken from my terrace. Occasionally, a troop of monkey gather around on my terrace because of this green Ashoka tree.Time
I go for a walk in the evening daily on my terrace. So, I went for my usual walk around 5.30 pm on November 5th. When I reached the terrace, several monkeys jumped here and there eating leaves, and whatever they could find. But this monkey was relaxed. I saw it sitting on the edge of my neighbor's terrace, as if he was satisfied and was at the place of his dreams.Lighting
The lighting of the bright evening was as good as it gets at my place with a slight touch of dullish sense.Equipment
I took this shot on my mobile Samsung S20 plus.Inspiration
I normally take macro shots that depicts the subjects in deep. But this click was rather a story. I was tempted to share with the world how an animal gets relaxed when they are at the place they are fond of. I termed it as "happy place" for that monkey.Editing
Yes, I did some post-processing to brighten up the dullish sense of the evening by taking care that my subject (the monkey) don't go unnoticed. In my camera bag
I am still a new learning photographer with Nikon D3400 18-55 mm and 70-300 mm lens. I also have Samsung S20 plus mobile, mobile macro lens 12x from Skyvik and Apexel 24x lenses for macro photography. I never use auto mode while taking pictures from my mobile. It has to be at certain settings that do justice to the subject and helps to tell a story.Feedback
Well, we do not need to travel lengths to take good shots. Around us if we truly observe we will find many stories that are still waiting to be told.
