Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in one of my favorite spots in Gander Newfoundland Canada.

Time

This was taken mid morning in bright sunshine.

Lighting

All natural lighting

Equipment

Nikon D750 with a 70-200 mm nikkor prime lens. Handheld shot.

Inspiration

I was feeding the blue jays peanuts and lucky enough to capture this one coming in for a nut.

Editing

A simple crop is all the post processing done.

In my camera bag

Camera 2 or 3 lenses, flash in case needed. Spare batteries and memory cards and a tripod in the trunk (in case I need it)

Feedback

Patience is the key, most shots like this are simple observation and being ready.
