Location
This photo was taken at ruins of Old City Samobor near Zagreb, Croatia.Time
The photo was taken at late afternoon.Lighting
Lighting condition were close to sunset. There was not too much light, as the ruins are surrounded by forest. There was high dynamic range between well lighted sky and trail path lead to ruins.Equipment
Used equipment were DSLR Nikon D750 and 24 - 120mm NIkkor zoom lenses.Inspiration
I like when you hiking through forest and reach the glade which was hidden a minute ago, and there discover ruins of old city surrounded by forest and mountains.Editing
There was a some of post-processing work. Because of high dynamic range there was need to balance exposure between well lighted sky and dark trail path. Also I played a little bit with color tones to achieve more dramatic scene. In my camera bag
I always carry a Nikon D750, a 50mm fast lens and a 24-120mm zoom lens in my bag. If necessary, in addition to the above, I sometimes bring a 105mm macro lens, a 70-300mm telephoto lens and one or two flashes and a tripod.Feedback
Sometimes even when the conditions are not great, it is good to take the picture. Using post-process tools we can improve the image and create the scene we imagined before we took the shot.
