I used a off-camera flash for this photo shoot. The flash was on the floor like a 45 degress side light.Equipment
For this photo I used Nikon D750, 40 mm NIkkor Micro lenses and off-camera flash unit. No other equipment were used.Inspiration
I wanted to take a pet portrait that would emphasize his strength and size as well as his friendly character.Editing
There was very little post-processing work for this photograph. I converted the photo to black and white, and add a brown tint.In my camera bag
I always carry a Nikon D750, a 50mm fast lens and a 24-120mm zoom lens in my bag. If necessary, in addition to the above, I sometimes bring a 105mm macro lens, a 70-300mm telephoto lens and one or two flashes and a tripod.Feedback
