Location
This photo is taken in Singapore. I went to the park to take photo of this amazing and most famous view, and also to get reflections in the water. I love traveling and I always happy to take photos like this.Time
It was around 7 or 8 o clock at night, after the sunset.Lighting
It was dark so I had to use the ling exposure. I didn't have a tripod with me so I had to find the stable surface. I wanted to capture both the buildings and the reflections. Thanks to long exposure it has a blurred effect and it looks colourful. And all of the reflections are taking the most if frame so it attracts viewer's attention.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 6D, with 24-135 mm lens without tripod or flashInspiration
I love new cities and new places. Singapore and Marina Bay areas inspired me a lot. I wanted to find a spot from where I could capture a whole scene and use water as an additional sourse of making the picture colourful. My friend who is a photographer top brought me there. And we were lucky to take a lof of photos with different coloursEditing
I used lightroom to make the photo brighter, also I used clarify for reflections. There were no other changesIn my camera bag
I always have my canon 6d with me and my fix 50 mm lens which is perfect for portraits. I used to have 24 -135 mm with me for landscapes and city views . If I'm going to glhave a photoshoot I take a reflector and a flash with meFeedback
The most important thing is to find the right spot from where you can get a good frame and thus a great photo. If you take pictures at night, take a tripod with you to avoid any blur and notice or find a stable surface like I did (I pur camera on the rocks). Play with the angle , frame and exposure to get different photos.
