This photograph was taken on a very quiet back country road near Noojee, Vic, Australia. Can't remember why I was even out and about but as the sun started rise I had to pull over and experiment with my camera.Time
This photo was taken at around 6-6:30am I think. If I'm honest.... it was sheer dumb luck that I happened to be in the right place, at the right time and was able to stop for an hour and enjoy the landscape. If you showed this photo to anyone that knows me, I can promise they will never believe I was the photographer...... Me being awake early … let a lone 6am is a miracle!Lighting
The lighting in this image is so soft and warm. It took a while playing with the settings on my camera to get the fog to "glow" the way I wanted but I got there in the end.Equipment

I was inspired while I was driving too... who knows where!!! Mostly by the way the sun slowly spilled light onto the cold fog that blanketed the endless paddocks. Once I began taking photos, the barbwire really got my attention and inspired some experimental shots which you can find on my profile.Editing

Get up early for the sunrise on a day you know will be beautiful but the early morning is still quite nippy. Find yourself some paddocks or open landscape where there is an abundance of fog and use the sun to illuminate the fog. GOODLUCK!
