Wire Pass is a slot canyon located in remote southern Utah. It's a 1½ mile hike from the trailhead to the beginning of Wire Pass. The trailhead is 8½ miles of rough washboard dirt road from US89. The temperature in the slot canyon is 10-15° cooler than out in the sun. The cool breeze blowing through the slot canyon makes it a pleasant hike once there.
