This was actually a favorite still that I culled from a series of them (I was shooting a timelapse of this flower as it opened). What I found most interesting about it was that this partially-mostly closed shot was more appealing to me than the shots of the flower fully open. I'm not sure if this is because we're so used to only seeing flowers in full bloom when photographed, or if it's because this flower in particular has excellent colors and feels like an oil painting.
Also - not my garden, my main quarantine location's. Daylilies are a huge thing for people, so out of respect, I'll include this one's name (yes, they have wild names for every single variation). "Real Wind." There ya go.
