MAN AT WORK.....but, this job is NOT for everyone!
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken from my apartment in Downtown, Vancouver, Canada.

Time

The photo was taken at 9 AM on Oct'1st, 2020. While most business were close during the pandemic, the essential construction industry continued.

Lighting

The worker - executing a dangerous task - is a minuscule backlit silhouette.

Equipment

I used my CANON 5D Mark III with the CANON EF 70-300mm lens.

Inspiration

The scale of the worker relative to the building, with other high-rises in the background inspired me to take the photo. I always give a title to my photos, before clicking the shutter. In this instant, "Man at Work" came to mind immediately.

Editing

No post-processing was necessary.

In my camera bag

I also use a wide angle CANON lens.

Feedback

There are photo opportunities all around us. One just needs to keep searching and practicing.
