Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo sitting outside by a bonfire with my daddy, my best friend. I'd give anything in this world for just one more moment with him, and I think of all the times like these often, the most important part of life is the love u have and give.

Time

This was in the late of the night under the stars of a warm Georgia autumn night.

Lighting

There was only the faint glow of a burning fire, the only other light was from the brightly shining stars and that of my soul's joy in spending time with the man who made me everything I am and made me never feel unloved or unimportant.

Equipment

My LG Stylo

Inspiration

Just had a good relaxing feeling and wanted to try out some new editing tools I'd just acquired.

Editing

Absolutely, photolab app for android and light room classic.

In my camera bag

I normally have at least 2 different smartphones specifically for photography, one of my quick-shot cameras, my Huion drawing tablet, and my laptop.

Feedback

Don't try to capture certain compositions or lighting or poses or even subjects. Just snap a shot or a few whenever you feel a connection to something spiritual and moving, when you're in a moment that makes you stop and appreciate life. Then whenever you go back later on and look through all of the images you have, there will be one that speaks to whatever concept you're trying to bring to the world through your creative perception.
