Riding my motorbike to a location is always exciting! If that location happens to be 163km away from home, it makes for an amazing road trip. The sun warming me up while I cruise though the highway and the engine roaring underneath the seat. This place looks like it came out of a fairytale. The castle stands tall, on an island, in the middle of the Tagus river and the only way there is by boat. The almost imperceptible and warm breeze invited me to explore the surroundings in search for the best spot to set up camp. The river danced so calmly that the movement was almost undetectable. A few dragonflies, unaware or simply not caring about me, kept to their daily tasks as I walked by. In the distance, a few birds tweeted, giving the whole scene a more inventing and magical mood. The few clouds in the sky started to vanish as the sun lowered towards the horizon. With them, the small groups of people that were visiting the place hopped in their cars and left. In ten minutes I had the whole place to myself. As time kept passing and golden hour gave its place to blue hour. The moon rose, silent, and along came a few stars that dotted the sky. The castle lights came on as well and, just like that, the scene was complete.
