This photo "Fallow deer" was taken during the rutting season of the fallow deer, the deer then migrate to a fixed area within the water supply dunes. This impressive spectacle with noisy grunting can often be heard from afar. During this period, males look their most imposing, like the male in the photo, who was keeping a close eye on the competition from the edge of the forest. The rutting season, which takes place in the second half of October, keeps the male constantly busy.
