This photo was taken West of London Ontario while I was out chasing storms.

Time

Not quite the golden hour, but approaching 5-6pm

Lighting

The contrast in colour between the hay bales and the approaching storm really caught my eye

Equipment

I wish I had my equipment. Alas, this was shot on my iPhone

Inspiration

The contrast of the gold and the dark

Editing

I had to crop a bit and brighten up the gold (the iPhone didn’t do it justice)

In my camera bag

When I’m out chasing storms I usually don’t pack my equipment as i am just an amateur and can’t yet afford good equipment for the conditions

Feedback

Don’t head inside during storms. I find stormy day skies provide an amazing backdrop for any photo
