Both photos were shot in the daytime, the manneqin was shot walking on the street and the building was shot while in my car. I find my best shots where I least expect them. When I was shooting them I didn't think about compositing those specific images.Lighting

I walk around Los Angeles looking for interesting store windows layouts. I knew I would be able to use the image of the silver mannequin in a composited image. It had the appearance of an outer space creature. I have an architecture background and am always looking for interesting architecture to use as backgrounds in my photos.Editing
I do my post-processing editing on my iPhone using apps and on my mac laptop computer using photoshop and lightroom. I only work in black and white and convert my images on the iPhone. Photoshop allows me to manipulate and composite my images and keep the best resolution. I mainly work with contrast, brightness, and opacity. It's important to be aware that some of the apps on the iPhone can reduce the resolution.In my camera bag
The only equipment I carry is my iPhone X max. Years ago I used a Pentax camera to take slides of architectural details and lost interest in photography until I discovered the camera on the iPhone. It allows me to express my vision without using additional photographic equipment. I like keeping it simple and light.Feedback
The key to good photographs is to be selective in choosing what to shoot. Ask yourself is there a story to tell with the image and can I enhance it with other images. What is the feeling you want to evoke, mystery, sadness, or isolation? Your photograph needs to have meaning.
