Location
This photo was taken in front of a grey wall in my bedroom.Time
I took the photo an evening I was feeling kinda dull. Anyhow, I had watched some youtube videos earlier that day about the importance of color in photography and the different color schemes. Spontaneously I decided take some photos for fun. I put on an outfit that I have sewn myself and all of a sudden I felt creative. Afterwards I pracitced on the editing of colors. It ended up being a late night. The photo was taken 10:34 PM, Sep. 29th.Lighting
It was dark outside so I had to use the only light source available - a normal lamp, lighting up the room from the ceiling.Equipment
This was shot on my Olympus OM D EM Mark II, with the 17mm f1./8 prime lens. My camera was connected to a tripod, while I used the phone as a remote with Live View - a genius way to press buttons while taking a selfie from a distance. No flash.Inspiration
Youtube inspired me as almost always! I have watched a ton of photographers talk about posing, editing, colors, composition and you name it.Editing
I used Lightroom for post-processing. I tweaked the HSL toolbars, and some other basic stuff like contrast. In my camera bag
It always rains in in the city where I live. I have one camera bag, and it is very small and only have room for the camera house with one lense. There are no pockets. However, the bag is storm proof which I like. Therefore I will decide one lens for the day. I like to take this as a challenge, and shoot all kinds of photos with that one lens that day. The three lenses I switch between the most, are my prime lenses: 17mm, 25mm and 45mm. NB: My camera has a Micro Four Thirds sensor.Feedback
Keep it simple with the background and spice it up with the outfit or vice versa.
