Location
I took this photo in the garden of the University's Natural History Museum. As I had finished my exams and the pandemic silencing the city, I quickly found out that I needed something to do. Bergen which is known for rainy days actually had some really nice days in early December so I went out to take photos.Time
In Norway the sun goes down rather early in the winter. This photo was taken 3:19 pm and it was blue hour.Lighting
Since I took this photo in the blue hour the light was pretty good. It was getting dark but I did not have to bump up the ISO.Equipment
On this shoot I was walking around with no other equipment then my camera and my OLYMPUS M.45mm F1.8.Inspiration
Already 2 days after my last exam I was getting bored as the city was pretty much closed. This pandemic has thought me to value my hobbies and given me a lot of time to practice them. My favorite photographers on IG, and youtube always inspire me to improve my photography and make me want to go out and practice.Editing
Yes, I did some color grading on this photo. I did a lot of experimenting with the colors and found the gold color going really well with the pink and cyan/green colors. In my camera bag
I have a tiny camera bag, so I always bring my camera with one lens. Some days I'll bring my tripod as well, but only if I am bringing an additional backpack.Feedback
Try photographing during blue hour! If you are in a city, I recommend going to places such as museums and botanical gardens.
