Patio Walls

Walking around in the stockyard area of Fort Worth I saw this and decided to capture it for posterity.

During a visit to the Houston Botanical Gardens I saw and captured this image.

While walking in the vicinity of the Menil Collection in Houston I encountered these kittens on the sidewalk just sunning themselves.

At the Texas Renaissance Festival I participated in a bourbon tasting and the sun was just right so I saw and captured this image

Location

This photo was taken in the flower garden at Hermann Park in Houston, Texas.

Time

This was taken midmorning on a bright cloudless day.

Lighting

This was natural light without any light modifiers

Equipment

I used a Canon 5D Mlll on a tripod using a 200mm canon lense.

Inspiration

I wat hed this lizard move around on this large succulent plant and I liked the way he looked.

Editing

This photo has been processed using several filters in photoshop for texture. Exposure was not modified in post production.

In my camera bag

2 camera bodies and 5 lenses along with a tripod.

Feedback

Use your own vision use your eyes and really look at the small parts of the world. Isolate and frame small views around you and think about the compositional elements in the world.
