Location
I took this shot at a local nature reserve just after sunrise, the colours of the light caught my eye, and the perfection of the web was stunning.Time
It was taken around 5.30am in late August, the sun had only been up for about 15 minutes.Lighting
It’s nature’s perfect lighting, golden hour for me is just ideal for most shotsEquipment
Taken on an Olympus M1X with a 300mm prime lens.Inspiration
It was a perfect example of the perfection of nature, such an intricate and appealing sight.Editing
I did very little with this shot, cropped slightly to better place the subject and slight level and noise adjustments. In my camera bag
I take the Olympus M1X out with the 300mm prime, sometimes using the MC14 extender on it. I also now carry an M1mkiii with the 40-150 f2.8 pro lens attached. I rarely use a tripod because I like to be on the move as much as possible.Feedback
Make the most of summer mornings, it’s peaceful and the light is stunning, it makes it easier to get the best shots.
