Location

The photo was taken on Odeceixe Beach, part of the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, in Portugal.

Time

This was a sunset and the photo was taken at least 8pm.

Lighting

I waited for this moment, after the sun goes down into the sea, to have the composition of the reflection between the sky and the sand. With that i wanted create a mystc and symetric environment.

Equipment

This photo was shot on a Canon 77D with the kit lens EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.

Inspiration

In this photo I intended to get an ethereal effect created by the reflection of the sunset mirrored in the wet sand, using the horizon as a dividing line. Both in terms of symmetry, such as color, light and contrast.

In my camera bag

Usually i carried my Canon 77d with the kit lens EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM and sometimes, more at night, with the lens with the lens Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM, i use a tripod.
