Location
This photo was taken while on vacation with my Granddaughters in the Southern part of Utah called "Capital Reef National Park". This place is one of great beauty and peace. It was a quiet beautiful day and we had stopped to have lunch at a picnic table. After lunch we were able to take pictures of our surroundings. This particular perspective struck me as one of great beauty and I stepped into the stream to take the shot.Time
it was just past one in the afternoon when the colors seemed their warmest.Lighting
All natural light without fill. It was truly an inspirational shot since I was not packing a lot of gear.Equipment
NIKON D7200 LENS: 16.0-85.0 MM F3.5-5.6 FOCAL: 22.00 mm EXPOSURE: 1/200 second f 7.1 ISO 100 I did not use a flashInspiration
The sheer peacefulness, beauty and calmness of the location.Editing
I added a little bit of saturation then added some warmth to the pictureIn my camera bag
I'm a minimalist when it comes to doing landscape photography I like to carry 2-3 lens 1 being my NIKON 16.0-85.0 DX SWM VR DX and my NIKON 18-140mm 1.3-5.6G ED DX VR along with a polarizer lensFeedback
I always get a feel for my space and the lighting, I also look at the angels taking pictures from different directions. I never worry about how my picture will turn out because I believe it's a matter of perspective.
