Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo downtown Odessa Texas in front of the historical Movie theater in town.

Time

It was about 8pm when the sun had just went down.

Lighting

I was practicing my low light and working figuring out how to photograph with neon lighting with my male model Ethan Lafaver

Equipment

I used my Canon 5d Mark iii And my Sigma art 35mm 1.4 and that's all really. No flash

Inspiration

Down town odessa is in the process in opening back up. Or at least trying to during the pandemic. So its alittle quite for now. So I wanted to capture the model and movie theater built in 1951 that is getting remodeled finally and getting ready to be reopened

Editing

No not really just was figuring out my night settings.

In my camera bag

Canon 5d mark iii, my Sigma art 35mm 1.4, Canon 85 1.8 and my Canon 50 1.8

Feedback

High Iso is what I did to capture this one. Honestly not even sure if I did it right lol. That's art right? Just doing and sometimes accidentally making something beautiful.
