Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Pangasinan, a province in my country, Philippines. More or less 5 hours ride from the country's capital, Manila.

Time

I took this photo around 4pm, the time we got back from snorkeling in one of the beaches in Pangasinan.

Lighting

It's nearly sunset so I didn't get much light. But the natural light from that time was god enough to take a great photo.

Equipment

I love taking photos only with my phone. And this particular photo was one of the result of my love in photography.

Inspiration

The popping red-colored spiral stair caught my eye. And I am a big fan of minimalist images, and so I thought this spot will be a great addition on my instagram gallery.

Editing

I love editing photos, I basically edited the brightness and contrast, then I added the clouds in the center of the structure to create mood for those people who might see it.

In my camera bag

I don't have a professional camera, still trying to save money for that, but no luck. I'm taking photos mostly by phones or cameras borrowed from a friend, or sometimes rented.

Feedback

I would suggest to turn on the grid feature in your camera, don't overedit photos, and always try your best to capture great photos. Always practice, cause it will improve your skills in photography and maximize your gears, in my case, a mobile phone".
