Location
This foto was taken at dawn on my usual daily walk. The view is looking south east out of Portsmouth harbour, UK. From the Gosport side.Time
I love these sort of atmospheroic dawn foto's and if you look through my other fotos you will see more similar, will add more soon.Lighting
Lighting at this time of day is really pure luck at catching it at the right time. I rarely fotoshop my fotos prefer to let a picture speak for irself. For me fotoshopping a picture is manufacturing something its not really what you saw at that time. I do sometimes adjust focus as clarifies what your trying to get across in a picture.Equipment
This probably wont suprise some people but could well others. I shot this with my phone a samsung 7 edge now 2 years old so for some old technology, however if you have something that takes good fotos why not use it after all its not always about the equipment but you and what you see.Inspiration
The light and the solitude of a single fishing boat going out to catch whatever he was fishing for that dayEditing
No post processing was used on this foto.First of all my phoneIn my camera bag
First of all is my phone a samsung 7 edge. Then the good stuff my Nikon 5300 with a Nikon 55-300 DX VR lens. I also use a 18-55 DX-VR lens.Feedback
Be in the right place at the right time and always be ready to shoot that picture of pictures cos you never know when its going to happen, 5 seconds later it could be gone, but never be afraid to take a pic. if its no good you can always delete it. But then when you look back 5 or 10 years later you can suprisecyourself with that picture cos it has something you didnt see at the time
