This Photo was taken just before dawn from my window that overlooks a nearby boatyard, The Earlybird catches the worm lolTime

90% of my images are taken on the fly, thus what you see is what you get. I do try to get the composition right but as for the rest its all a matter of chance. Some turn out brilliant others not so good. Experience is telling and am getting better tho I must say I have been using a camera of various types and cost since I was 10 when I bought my first camera for a school trip to Guernsey. I am not a professional as you can probably see. I do love photographing what I see and making pictures that are enjoyable to look at.Equipment
My first half decent camera was a Sony a200 with various lenses up to a 70-300. I now use a Nikon 5300 with a Nikon DX 18-55 lens and a Nikon DX 55-300 VR lens. So as you see nothing fancy just solid workmanlike tools.Inspiration
Inspiration to take this foto came from the dawn light and the colour of the clouds seen thro the grating of a boat rack.Editing
Nope No post processing it is as it was taken. I do do some processing on some photo's but certainly not all.In my camera bag
I have a mix of things in my bag as it always seems too heavy but I must admit I don't use much of it.Feedback
My advice to anyone trying photography and wondering if you can take good pictures, Always try to take pictures of things you like, what appeals to you or just takes your fancy, not everyone will be magazine proof by any means but you will take some outstanding photos and best of all they will be yours.
