Toyota Warp Speed

Taken for a university assignment, this was a really fun shot to take and took hours in the end. It's four shots merged in PS. I put the cam on a tripod in the back... The first shot I took in the car park of my apartment, and I lit up the dash with a strip box above the windshield. Then I put the driver in the car and took another shot, backlighting up him with the strip box from the front of the car. Then we went driving up and down Citylink in Melbourne through a tunnel, holding the tripod in position as best as I could, trying different long exposure lengths and trying not to catch another car (it was about 3am when it was quieter). Then we drove to a MacDonalds car park and I looked through the shots and realized I didn't get a shot with the car and dash lights turned on, so I took another and I had to align those elements in using PS. Luckily I hadn't taken the cam off the tripod at that point!

Finally, I had to remove the needle and draw a new one in at 100kmph.
