That’s me, I have breast cancer stage IV that metastasized to my bones. I found out I had cancer after I found out I was pregnant. The estrogen my body produced is what my type of cancer fed on. I was hospitalized for a month. Bc I was pregnant I couldn’t get the treatment I needed. With deep remorse we decided to abort the pregnancy and I began some radiation treatments for the lump in my breast. Then I began chemo pills. I was on over 1000 mg of morphine. My spine became so weak I needed a plastic brace around my upper torso and help getting up and walking. I went from 187lbs to 100lbs. I had several collapsed vertebrae (bc I saw a chiropractor before I knew that my back was hurting due to the cancer) I then spent another month in a rehab to regain my strength and muscle tone. I was sent home in a wheel chair with a walker. This all happened in 2017. Today(2020) I am living with cancer. I am slightly hunched over from the collapsed vertebrae, went from 5’6 to 5’2 but I can walk! I can drive! I can live! The meds I take so far are keeping the cancer from spreading. Of course I can’t walk, stand or sit upright for an extended amount of time bc the pain in my upper back becomes unbearable, but it’s
