Location
I was in Cloud Croft, New Mexico exploring a historical train trestle.Time
It was probably around 4:00 PM or so.Lighting
The lighting was very nice outside since it was a bit later in the afternoon. I just worked with the natural light to find interesting compositions.Equipment
I used my Nikon D750 and my 24-85 mm 3.5 lens.Inspiration
I was climbing on some of the beams to find interesting compositions and I thought the angle looking up looked really awesome.Editing
Yes, I mainly played around with the lighting, contrast, and details. I also changed it to monochrome so the eye focus on the structure easier. In my camera bag
Usually, just my Nikon D750 and my 24-85 mm lens.Feedback
Have fun and explore whatever structure you’re visiting. One of the things I love the most about this photo is my experience in capturing it. I was walking high up on the beams and I felt like I was in an adventure movie. Just see where your eye is drawn and work from there.
