I took this photo near my beach house. A neighbour has a bush that butterflies love.Time
I took this picture in the afternoon after lunch. Usually people go take a nap after eating so there's no people on the streets except for the butterflies.Lighting
This picture was taken on a bright sunny day in the middle of summer so it was taken with harsh light. I didn't use any diffuser.Equipment
I used a Nikon D3100 with a 18-55mm lense.Inspiration
Butterflies are beautiful creatures. They have this wonderful colours and the shapes of their wings are just magical.Editing
I only did the basics (exporuse, contrast, highlights, shadows, blacks and whites).In my camera bag

Be patient. Butterflies love to fly around ans if you are patient and gentle enough they will let you take amazing photos of them.
