Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken of a juvenile bald eagle down at Lake Guntersville, AL. Lake Guntersville is home to about a dozen pair of adult bald eagles and most of these pair successfully fledged 1-2 juveniles this past year.

Time

mid-late afternoon

Lighting

I'm a newby so I generally depend of natural lighting

Equipment

Nikon D3500 with Tamron 160-600 zoom lens.

Inspiration

Most of my adult life my mom has been an avid bird watcher. This past January I delightedly found 2-3 Eagles nests only about 30 minutes from my house. It is really quite captivating to watch these majestic birds soar.

Editing

No postprocessing edits

In my camera bag

spare battery, 2-3 extra lenses, cleaning cloth
