Location

This photo was taken at one of several small ponds in the area of Central Delaware

Time

I captured this around 10:30 AM. I was looking for some wildlife to take images of and was looking at a Heron when this guu landed on a bush very close to me

Lighting

nothing spectacular. It was a mostly cloudy day.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D500 at 260mm ( 55-300 mm ) f/8 ISO 250 handheld

Inspiration

Ever since I was young, I have always loved seeing this red and white against black birds flying around

Editing

Not much in the way of post processing. a little exposure and texture adjustments mostly

In my camera bag

I like to carry with me my Nikon D500 and at least my Nikkor 55-300mm and my Nikkor 18-140mm

Feedback

I have found that two things will help to get better wildlife images: slow movements and patience.
