Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in: Omberg-Östergötaland, Sweden.

Time

I took this picture in the summer of 2013 around noon.

Lighting

I like this image because it has frozen the time and you can see the bugs wings as it will descend to the flower.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon EOS 1000 D, freehand + 300 mm camera lens from Canon.

Inspiration

I was sitting in the garden of my fathers country house and enjoying the good weather. Then i saw that this bug was about to land on the flower and try to take the picture before it had landed.

Editing

Yes i cropped the image and did som sharpen and light EQ (the original image was a little dark) adjustments. I used the program ACDSee since i think it's more easy to use than Photoshop.

In my camera bag

Since i sold my Canon EOS 1000 D i now use a more compact camera: Canon PowerShot SX510 HS. I use 32 GB memory card from Transcend. I also have a Hama tripod STAR 62. And a bag for the camera and i use microfiber cleaning fibercloths.

Feedback

I used ISO 400 300mm f/7,1 1/400s.
