The dining tables at the Hurezi monastery. Located in Vâlcea, Romania, this orthodox monastery was built between 1690 and 1693 and is considered to be the finest foundation of Constantin Brâncoveanu, one of the greatest princes of Wallachia (nowadays southern Romania). The nuns living in the monastery are preserving the local traditions, so every time you go there, it feels like travelling in time. In order to also capture the frescoes on the walls and celling, I photographed from the floor level and I managed to get this perspective created by the perfectly alligned chairs.
