Location
This photo was taken at Punggol Point Jetty in Singapore which was popular to many fishermen for amenities nearby. Am still a amateur, try taking as much to improve.Time
I came to this place for the first time at on 12 Jul 2020 at 6.30am hoping to catch the first light of the day and was lucky to witness the beauty of the sun emerging from the horizon. I was surprised to see many fishing enthusiasts could be camping there for a good catch. Also since it’s jetty for fishermen for amenities, was busy with people and boats. When the sun was too brilliant, I walk down the beach to look for a different view and captured this at 7.24am.Lighting
I like how the sun shined on the rock and the shadow created from this angle. The starburst also enhance the whole viewEquipment
I was using Canon EOS R with Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 lens with a tripod.Inspiration
The effect of shadow casted on the rock, the brilliant sun with boat waiting at the jetty to begin a new day.Editing
This is a single shot with only some adjustments to the lightings and colour balance. In my camera bag
In my bag will have my Canon EOS R with my 16-35mm wide angle lens, some filters, tripod.Feedback
Everyday, every moment is a different scene, captured as much as possible. The results are amazing when you actually looks at it.
